Uplands has been furnished and decorated to create a welcoming and homely environment. The lounges and dining room provide communal space to our clients and visitors are welcome to share in any activity or social function.

Service users have a choice of watching TV in the large communal lounge or in the privacy of their own bedroom.

Our staff encourage service users to be involved in a range of activites, both group and individual.

The majority of our service users enjoy attending our Tuesday club which gives the opportunity of a group activity/sing along/coffee morning.

An in-house physiotherapistvisits weekly and can offer a range of services from gentle exercise to individual physio plans. Hairdressing services are available at a reasonable charge.

Service users can come and go as they please, medical conditions permitting.

Service users are encouraged to partake of all activities within the home but have the right to decline.
